Join us for a special outing to see Tamio Wakayama’s exhibition  at the Vancouver Art Gallery on Thursday, January 22 , from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm . You may gather at Tonari Gumi at 10:30 am  and travel together, or meet us directly at the Vancouver Art Gallery at 11:00 am . Gallery meeting point:  Robson St × Howe St entrance. The guided tour will begin at 11:00 am , led by Mayu Takasaki , Tamio Wakayama’s partner, along with Tadafumi Tamura , a Japanese guide for this exhibit

Join us as we trace the stories of Japanese Canadians in Maple Ridge. We will visit the “Seiko-Udoku” exhibition at the CEED Centre and the Maple Ridge Museum. It’s a great opportunity to connect with the local culture and history.

Feeling something a little more seaside-oriented? The #351 Bus from Bridgeport to White Rock Centre is almost definitely what you’re looking for. Head straight up to the top level of the 351 from Bridgeport Station, there’s plenty to see on this 36-kilometre journey.
