Volunteer Commitment
To provide consistent support to our members and ensure a positive experience for everyone, we ask volunteers to:
✓ Commit to volunteering for a minimum of 3 months
✓ Volunteer regularly according to their agreed schedule
✓ Attend orientation and training as required
✓ Follow Tonari Gumi policies and procedures
Our Volunteer Selection Process
Step 1
Submit the online registration form.
Step 2
Our Volunteer Coordinator reviews applications.
Step 3
Selected applicants may be invited for a brief interview (in person or via Zoom).
Step 4
References and/or Criminal Record Checks may be required depending on the volunteer role.
Step 5
Successful applicants will be contacted regarding orientation and placement.

Due to limited volunteer positions and the needs of our programs, only applicants whose interests, availability, and experience match current opportunities will be contacted.
