Powell Street Festival
​This year's Powell Street Festival, a Japanese Summer Festival, will be held on August 3 and 4 at Oppenheimer Park on Powell Street, just like before the pandemic!

Tonari Gumi will resume its food booth in earnest this year. We will be selling inari sushi, sushi rolls, chilled noodles (Hiyashi Chuka), and two kinds of Manju. We are looking for help on the day of the festival and the days leading up to it in the following areas. If you are available, please join us. 
Requested dates and tasks:

Wednesday, July 31, 10:00am - 4pm: Prepare work area, prepare food, pack supplies/equipment, transport, etc.
Thursday, August 1, 10:00am - 4pm: Prepare work area, prepare food, pack supplies/equipment, transport, etc.
Friday, August 2, 9:00am - 4pm: Transport and set up event site tent, prepare workshop, prepare and pack food, pack supplies/equipment, transport, etc.
Saturday, August 3, 9:00am - 7pm: Food production, packing, and transportation at Tonari Gumi. Selling at food and craft booths, transportation, installation, and dismantling.
Sunday, August 4, 9:00am - 7pm: Food production, packing, and transportation at Tonari Gumi. Selling at food and craft booths, transportation, installation, and dismantling.
